GeM (Government e-Marketplace) is continuously tightening its regulations to ensure sellers and OEMs strictly adhere to its policies. Operational penalties for non-compliance, which were already in place, have now been made even more stringent, with a particular focus this time on OEMs specifically when an incident is raised against them.
Previously, if an incident was raised against an OEM or one of its catalogs, the restriction was limited to that specific catalog, and your OEM panel remained accessible. However, under the new system, if any incident is raised against one of your catalogs or against you as an OEM, your entire OEM panel will be blocked until the incident is resolved or closed.
Our Recommendations
We strongly recommend addressing any such incidents quickly to ensure they are resolved as soon as possible, allowing you to regain access to your OEM panel. Additionally, it’s crucial to avoid any actions that could lead to these types of incidents, as they will significantly impact your business on GeM.
